It is a type of double-layered knitted fabric obtained by placing cylinder and cover needles perpendicularly and opposite each other, only in double-plate circular knitting machines. The most important feature of these fabrics is that both sides are smooth and both sides of the fabric can be used. Baby bottoms, singlets, pajamas and many clothes can be produced from interlock fabrics that are knitted in a tight structure and can be knitted from all kinds of fibers. The most commonly used yarn type is 100% cotton, it is also frequently produced with cotton/polyester and viscose.
Jacquard Interlock
Interlock jacquard knits are produced on circular knitting machines. It is a type of fabric with a wide range of patterns. Since there is air between the front and back surface, it has better thermal insulation properties compared to other fabric types. Basically, it is not much different from the rib jacquard system.
